We need more Bugs Bunny cartoons like this I had to say, I would’ve love to see Friz Freleng continued making more of this Bugs and Sam feud like this, it is one of the best later Freleng/Bugs Bunny cartoons ever! Also the first of only two Bugs/Sam cartoons written and directed by Freleng himself!

I like the ending where the lions charge at Emperor Nero and Sam, who in a panic, run from the lions to hide on top of a column, but the lions are swiping the column limb from limb just as Emperor Nero and Sam await their obvious fate.

I like the one scene where Bugs Bunny confuses Sam, easily and successfully crossing the Mason-Dixie line:

Sam: Well, it’s one of our boys.
Bugs (disguised as a slave, singing): The sun shines bright on my old Kentucky home.
Sam: Hey there, Boy! How about giving out with something peppy on that there skin box, huh?
Bugs (singing): Yowver, Yankee Doodle went to town riding on a pony.
Sam: Yankee Doodle?! (runs after Bugs)
Bugs (singing): Stuck a carrot in his hat and called it “Macaroni”.
Sam: You traitor!
Bugs (puts a whip in Sam’s hand): Don’t beat me, Massa! Please, Don’t beat me Massa! Don’t beat this tired old body! NO! NO! (crawls away, then comes back disguised as Abraham Lincoln) What’s this I hear about you whipping slaves?
Sam: But-But-But-But-But-But-
Bugs (as Abraham Lincoln): Never mind the “Buts”. Here’s my card. Look me up at my Gettysburg address.

I like that one scene where Bugs whispers a lie about K-9 secretly doing mutiny against Marvin the Martian, forcing Marvin to disintegrate K-9.

I like the part where Foghorn Leghorn catches the daddy chicken hawk in the act and declares all out war against him:

“UNHAND THOSE FAIR BARNYARD FLOWERS!”
“WHAT’S GOIN’–I SAY–WHAT’S GOIN’ ON HERE?! DON’T STAND THERE WITH YOUR BEAK OPEN! SAY SOMETHIN’! EXPLAIN YOURSELF! YOUR TONGUE’S FLAPPIN’, BUT NO NOISE IS COMING OUT OF YOUR BIG MOUTH! NOW GET OUT AND STAY OUT! SCRAM THAT IS!”
